It all started as a small company with four employees in a barn. Today, SOMIC is a technology leader in special machine construction, with over 600 dedicated employees at four locations worldwide, and yet our heart still beats as it did on the first day: we are and will remain a family-owned company – reliable, approachable, and with genuine solidarity.

This is where the heart of SOMIC beats. At our company headquarters in Amerang in the Chiemgau region, we develop, design, and manufacture our cardboard packaging machines. From engineering and automation to final assembly - this is where machines are created that are used worldwide. Modern workplaces, short distances, and quality of life.
Haag in Upper Bavaria (Germany) – Parts manufacturing
Precision from Bavaria: At our second German location, we manufacture high-quality parts and components for our machines. State-of-the-art CNC technology meets traditional craftsmanship.
Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota (USA)
Our North American location serves customers in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. From sales and final assembly to commissioning, service, and engineering - we're close to the American market.
Bangkok (Thailand)
In focus: The Asia-Pacific region. We enthusiastically serve the dynamically growing Asian market - sales, service, R&D, and technical support for customers throughout the APAC region.
