We are looking for support as soon as possible in the following role:
Accountant (m/f/d)
for our headquarter in Amerang
Your responsibilities
- Deputy Head of the Accounting Department
- Independently preparing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Managing fixed asset accounting
- Submitting advance VAT returns and statistical returns
- Intercompany reconciliation / collaboration with overseas subsidiaries (USA, Thailand)
- Preparation of business analyses and reports
- Assistance with the preparation of cost calculations, budget planning and cost centre accounting
- Review and authorisation of payment transactions
- Further development and optimisation of existing processes and workflows
Your profile
- Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship with further training as a financial accountant (m/f/d)
- Relevant professional experience in financial/accounting or in a comparable role
- Initial experience in team leadership
- Knowledge of employment law would be an advantage
- Very good written and spoken English
- Ability to work independently and a high degree of personal responsibility
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
